AI Startup etalytics secures 8 million euros in Series A financing
Successful AI Startup Rising alumni drive sustainable energy solutions forward
Darmstadt-based startup etalytics, a pioneer in the field of AI-supported energy solutions, has successfully closed a Series A financing round of 8 million euros. The investor round was led by Alstin Capital (Carsten Maschmeyer’s fund), with significant contributions from ebm-papst as co-lead and TF H IV Technologiefonds Hessen GmbH & Co. KG (a fund managed by
Beteiligungs-Managementgesellschaft Hessen mbH (BM H)).
Funding enables further development of sustainable energy solutions
etalytics plans to use these funds to drive its international growth, further develop its flagship product etaONE and establish sustainable energy solutions in sectors such as data centers, healthcare, automotive and more.
etaONE optimizes energy systems in real time with a combination of AI and digital twins. This enables customers to significantly lower energy consumption and costs and reduce CO2 emissions. Renowned companies such as Equinix, Volkswagen and Sanofi are among the customers who report savings of up to 50% in heating, ventilation and cooling systems.
Dr. Niklas Panten, CEO of etalytics, expressed his enthusiasm for the new partnerships: “With this strong network of investors and partners, we can not only expand our international presence, but also set new standards in industrial energy use.”
AISR alumni with TU Darmstadt roots
The startup, which emerged from the “ETA | Energy Technologies and Applications in Production” research group at TU Darmstadt in 2020, successfully completed the RISING accelerator program from AI Startup Rising (AISR) | hessian.AI in 2022. As part of the program, etalytics received support in the areas of business development, financing and network building. A new batch of the successful program opens on November 29, 2024.
AI Startup Rising and hessian.AI congratulate the etalytics founding team Björn König, Niklas Panten and Thomas Weber on this great success. The example of etalytics shows how innovative AI technologies from startups can contribute to overcoming global challenges.
