Applications Open: AI Startup Rising launches IGNITION Incubator 2026.2

AI startups can now apply for the next edition of the AI Startup Rising IGNITION Incubator. Until 17 August 2026 (1:00 p.m. CEST), startups with AI at the core of their business can apply for the six-month program designed to help innovative teams take the next step towards market readiness.

The IGNITION Incubator supports 8–10 selected startups from September 2026 to March 2027 with a structured program that combines expert coaching, individual mentoring, financial support, and access to a strong AI startup network.

The program is aimed at startups that have already developed a minimum viable product (MVP), validated their proof of concept, and are preparing for pilot projects with first customers. Through six interconnected coaching modules, participants receive hands-on support in areas including AI technology, sales, venture capital, IP and legal, communication, and storytelling.

In addition to tailored coaching, participating startups are eligible for financial support of up to €5,000. Depending on the company’s incorporation status, the funding is either provided directly or reimbursed for eligible project expenses.

Following the application deadline, shortlisted teams will be invited to a virtual assessment with the AI Startup Rising coaching team. Based on the application and assessment, an independent jury will select the startups that will join the 2026 IGNITION cohort.

The goal of the program is clear: to prepare promising AI startups for successful market entry by strengthening their technology, business model, and go-to-market strategy.
