foundersXchange: VR/AR technologies, real-world startup paths

The next foundersXchange is coming up—this time at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences!

On June 3, the focus will be on the opportunities that virtual and augmented reality technologies offer for startups. There will be keynote presentations from both an academic perspective and based on startup experience:

Prof. Philip Hausmeier, coordinator of the “Augmented and Virtual Reality Design” bachelor’s program at h_da
Professor of Experience and Narrative Design in Expanded Realities, co-founder of the international online platform for artistic VR experiences “Radiance VR,” and founder and co-organizer of “VRBLN” (VR Berlin).

MountEverQuest: Niklas Meisch, Philipp Petry, and Tobias Schaffer, startup team at h_da
Using virtual reality, the team transforms climbing gyms into immersive adventure worlds. Their scalable software enhances any climbing wall with interactive game and training modes for beginners and professionals alike.

Iman Nikkhahazad, XR engineer and developer
Thanks to his experience in research and industrial projects, he is committed to making 3D technologies accessible, scalable, and effective. He is currently further developing his startup idea by combining 3D scanning and augmented reality technologies.

As usual, there will be an open-mic session at the end where you can share your ideas and suggestions or get feedback from the audience.
