Final Presentations of the “Digital Health” Lecture at TU Darmstadt
This winter semester, AI Startup Rising | hessian.AI participated for the first time as a practice partner in the Digital Health lecture by Prof. Dr. Ekaterina Jussupow (Department of Information Systems, TU Darmstadt).
As part of the course, students developed their own AI-based startup ideas for the healthcare sector based on the knowledge they acquired. Under the guidance of AI Startup Rising coaches Stefan Rötzel and Julian Werner, the teams created innovative concepts, which they presented to a distinguished panel of experts.
The Jury:
- Prof. Dr. Ekaterina Jussupow (TU Darmstadt)
- Prof. Dr. Holger Storf (University Hospital Frankfurt)
- Viktoria Prantauer (Capgemini Invent)
- Dr. Lutz Müller (Sanofi)
- Elias Hofmann (dianovi)
- Dr. Jacqueline Lammert (TUM Munich)
- Stefan Rötzel (hessian.AI | Science Park Kassel)
- Julian Werner (hessian.AI | Scieneers)
The jury recognized the high quality of the presentations and the innovative approaches of the students. The teams “Rarecare”, “Preventix”, and “Harmonia” particularly stood out and secured a place on the winners’ podium after a close competition.
For AI Startup Rising | hessian.AI, this lecture was a valuable opportunity to introduce students to the topic of startup founding. Co-Lead Carlina Bennison shared her positive takeaway:
“The lecture impressively demonstrated the potential that is unleashed when students are encouraged to apply their knowledge to real-world business cases. A valuable experience for all participants.”
AI Startup Rising | hessian.AI would like to thank all participants, the jury, and Prof. Dr. Ekaterina Jussupow, Stefan Rogge and TU Darmstadt for the successful collaboration.
