AI Innovationlab
Primary goal of hessian.AI’s Innovationlab is the promotion of development and production of state-of-the-art AI technology.
For this purpose, we are offering the use of a modern technical infrastructure in the form of a HPC (High-Performance-Computing)-Cluster which is able to perform the execution of demanding machine/deep learning models in connection with huge datasets (Big Data). Furthermore, we can assist with AI-related consulting services, e.g. with regard to developing and implementing these kind of models.
The AI Innovationlab has a close relationship to the outstanding scientific community of Technische Universität Darmstadt in the areas of AI as well as Computer Science in general. We are striving to continuously enhance our portfolio, on the one hand with the most modern neural network architectures and algorithms, on the other hand with business-related AI projects which are able to create strong added-value to their owners.

The AI Innovation Competition, organized by the hessian.AI Innovation Lab, is an exciting opportunity for startups and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) based in Hessen, Germany, to access cutting-edge resources and expert guidance to bring their AI projects to life. Whether you’re developing innovative AI models or scaling existing solutions, this competition is designed to help you succeed.
Participants will have exclusive access to Supercomputer 42, located in Darmstadt, Hessen, powered by NVIDIA A100 GPUs, one of the most advanced GPUs for AI and deep learning applications. This state-of-the-art infrastructure will enable participants to tackle computationally intensive AI challenges and bring their ideas to life.
AI Innovationlab is an initiative to support and enhance the use of state-of-the-art AI technology in the German business community. This initiative is funded by the Ministry for Digitalisation and Innovation of Hesse.
