summetix is developing a platform for customer intelligence with a completely new approach. Our approach is strictly data-driven, fully automated, yet almost as accurate as a human but 6 months faster! Our team is based in the Rhine-Main area.
Large companies generate a lot of customer feedback, which is analysed manually at great expense. As a result, important information is collected too late or not at all. Our argument analysis not only makes it possible to determine changes in the amount of customer feedback and the mood of customers, but can also immediately identify the main causes for the occurrence of negative (or positive) customer feedback.
We filtered and aggregated very noisy feedback from various channels (social media, news, direct customer feedback) using a standardised technology based on argument mining (AI recognition of valid product-related statements).
ArgumenText was a research project at the TU Darmstadt, in which we were able to lay valuable foundations for today’s technology. summetix stands for the transformation from research prototype to fully-fledged (SaaS) software product – and for our passion to climb as many peaks as possible.
We are building up a presence in the UK and want to grow to a team of 30+ people there and in Germany.
summetix is primarily used in the automotive and consumer goods industries, where a lot of feedback is generated through a wide variety of channels. However, we also support applications in the research context, for example in a collaboration with the ULB Darmstadt, where we decode the argumentation in open access publications.
