TaleroAI is an AI-powered, game-based career assessment platform that helps people discover the career paths where they’re most likely to thrive. It evaluates users’ IQ, EQ, and personality through interactive, story-driven experiences and provides personalized career feedback. TaleroAI was founded in 2024 and is currently in the prototype stage.
The idea came from a personal experience of career uncertainty after a job switch, and the frustration of taking traditional personality tests that felt boring and unhelpful. We wanted to create something more engaging, modern, and actually insightful. One of the biggest challenges has been combining psychology, game design, and AI into a meaningful and scalable experience.
TaleroAI uses interactive games to assess users’ behavior, and then AI analyzes decision patterns to generate tailored career suggestions. Our AI models evaluate data from personality, IQ, and EQ tests and use RAG to deliver personalized feedback. This makes the experience feel natural and accurate while ensuring the results are truly helpful for both candidates and recruiters. Additionally, we use AI to dynamically generate and select scenarios based on the user’s choices and performance, making each experience personalized, adaptive, and cheat-proof, as no two players follow the exact same path.
In the final version of TaleroAI, users explore an interactive, story-driven game world where their actions reflect deep psychological traits. Each user experiences a personalized journey through different environments that assess:
Personality through decision-making in open-ended, immersive situations. For example, a player may reach a three-way path: one road leads to a burning field, another to a group of people partying, and the third to a quiet, misty forest. Each choice reveals something about the player’s openness to experience, extraversion, or emotional stability, depending on what they’re drawn to and how they react to what they observe.
IQ through adaptive puzzle-solving tasks like pattern recognition, logic challenges, and memory-based quests that increase in complexity.
EQ by involving players in emotionally rich scenarios, such as recognizing facial expressions, managing in-game social situations, or responding to emotionally charged dilemmas.
Our AI adapts the scenarios based on the player’s behavior, ensuring a unique path for every user while maintaining consistency in what is measured. This dynamic design prevents cheating, increases engagement, and allows for an accurate, multi-dimensional profile. At the end, players receive AI-generated feedback highlighting their strengths and career paths that align with their cognitive and emotional profile.
Most AI recruitment platforms focus primarily on analyzing CVs or past experiences, which often overlooks a candidate’s actual potential. TaleroAI takes a different approach by focusing on who the person is, not just what they’ve done — using game-based assessments to evaluate personality, IQ, and EQ. In fast-changing industries, many individuals may feel lost, outdated, or disconnected from the job market, we aim to support them by helping them rediscover their strengths and guiding them back into roles where they can thrive, even if their resume doesn’t reflect it yet.
This year, our main goal is to launch our first AI-powered single-player version and test it with real users from universities, schools, and HR partners. In five years, we want TaleroAI to be a global standard for career discovery – integrated into schools, universities, and used by companies to find and develop talent more fairly and effectively.
