About the AI Startup Landscape Hesse 2025
The AI Startup Landscape Hessen 2025 is an initiative of hessian.AI, in cooperation with appliedAI and bmh (Beteiligungs-Managementgesellschaft Hessen mbH). Together with other partners from the Hessian startup ecosystem, we are doing everything we can to increase the visibility of Hessian AI startups and create a sound data basis for the further development of the Hessian AI ecosystem.
Why should you take part?
More visibility: Present your startup to potential investors and partners.
Nomination opportunity: All participants will automatically be considered for AppliedAI’s AI Startup Landscape Germany – a Germany-wide platform with enormous visibility that opens up further opportunities.
Prize draw: Get the chance to win tickets for the “Block im Park” event on May 15, 2025 in Frankfurt! Tickets will be raffled off among all submissions by May 4, 2025.
Study: The data collection serves as the basis for a study to trace the development of the Hessian AI startup ecosystem.
Admission criteria for the AI Startup Landscape Hessen 2025:
- Your company is less than 10 years old (founded in 2015 or later) or has focused on AI within the last 10 years.
- The headquarters are located in Hesse or you have strong connections to Hesse (e.g. spin-off from a Hessian university or active local founding team)
- At least one person in the team has proven AI expertise.
- Artificial intelligence is an integral part of your business model or is used significantly.
- Your business model is already well validated (e.g. professional website, clear market strategy).
Note on the further application process for the AI Startup Landscape Germany by Applied AI
Startups with a clear intention to found a company can also be considered for the AI Startup Landscape Hessen, even if they have not yet been officially founded.
For the further application process for AppliedAI’s AI Startup Landscape Germany, however, only founded companies with at least two full-time employees (FTE) will be accepted. The data collected by hessian.AI and partners that meet AppliedAI’s criteria will be forwarded to AppliedAI via the bmh.
Is your startup already listed on the AI Startup Landscape 2024?
The survey for the AI Startup Landscape Hessen 2025 is more comprehensive than last year, as it also serves as the basis for the nomination process for the AI Startup Landscape Germany. We therefore ask you to complete the survey again to ensure high data quality for the new study.
