“Does AI make us immortal?” – Improvisational theater with artificial intelligence

How does artificial intelligence transform our understanding of life, aging, and death?
On March 19, 2026, Kultur einer Digitalstadt e.V. and the AI Theatre in das Theater Moller Haus Darmstadt invite you to Theater Moller Haus Darmstadt for an extraordinary improvisational performance featuring a human cast – and an AI as a stage partner.

The event is part of the series “So ein Theater um die Daten” (“Such a Drama about Data”), continuing the successful art and discourse project “The Poetry of Data.” After the performance, director Stefan Kollmeier, curator Dr. Roland Lentz, the actors of the AI Theatre, and invited experts – including Prof. Dr. Paul Rainey (Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology), Dr. Angela Rascher (AGAPLESION Institute for Theology – Diakonie – Ethics), and Dr. Patrick Schramowski (DFKI, Hessian.AI) – will join the audience for an open discussion about the evening’s ideas, questions, and visions.
