What is the German Accelerator?
The German Accelerator is operated by the Start2 Group (formerly: German Entrepreneurship) on behalf of the BMWK and offers German start-ups tailored programmes for various stages and target markets. The promise is: ‘From early-stage support to market entry, our programmes help expand your global mindset, navigate new markets, and accelerate growth through tailored guidance and resources.’
What is the Kickstart Programme?
The Kickstart Programme takes place several times a year at various locations throughout Germany in cooperation with regional partners. It is the basic programme in the field of international scaling and is therefore perfect for early-stage start-ups that have to deal with the topic of internationalisation at an early stage (also because of AI, digitalisation, patents, etc.) The aim is: ‘…to build a scalable, global business right from the start and gather tools, knowledge and networks.’ Kickstart does this with a proven mix of selected workshops, mentoring with experts, various opportunities for networking and panel discussions as well as inclusion in the growing alumni network.
