The Artificial Intelligence Act, AI Act or AI Regulation for short, which came into force on August 1, 2024, represents a significant step towards regulating the development and use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the European Union. The Act aims to promote the responsible and safe use of AI. Nevertheless, the business community is concerned that the AI Act could have a negative impact on innovation in Europe. Entrepreneurs fear increased compliance costs and complex review processes.
At this event, we will discuss the hurdles and opportunities of the AI Act with representatives from business, science and politics.
