Hessen Drives AI Innovation: Cooperation between hessian.AI and appliedAI for the AI Startup Landscape Hessen 2025
The AI Startup Landscape Hessen enters its next phase:
hessian.AI | The Hessian Center for Artificial Intelligence has announced a close cooperation with appliedAI, one of Europe’s leading initiatives for the promotion of AI startups.
The goal is to further increase the visibility of Hessian AI startups and to generate valuable insights into both the regional and national AI ecosystems.
New Study on the AI Landscape in Hessen
A key component of this cooperation will be the first-ever publication of a comprehensive study based on the data collected through the AI Startup Landscape Hessen 2025.
The study will not only highlight the strengths and potential of Hessian AI startups but also put them into context with the findings from appliedAI’s nationwide AI Startup Landscape Germany. This will provide unique insights into Hessen’s AI ecosystem and contribute to its further development as a leading innovation hub in Germany.
Shared Data Basis for Regional and National Visibility
The AI Startup Landscape Hessen 2025 will not remain a stand-alone project:
It will also serve as a data source for the AI Startup Landscape Germany by appliedAI. Startups participating in the Hessen survey will automatically have the chance to be considered for the prestigious national landscape.
“The close integration of regional and national perspectives is a major benefit for startups and the entire AI community.
Our collaboration with appliedAI will elevate the visibility of Hessian AI startups to a new level and simultaneously provide a solid basis for data-driven decisions,”explains Carlina Bennison, Co-Lead of the AI Startup Rising project at hessian.AI.
