Student Assistant (m/f/d) Wanted – Support in the Evaluation of Data on AI Startups in Hesse
The AI Startup Rising project at the Hessian Center for Artificial Intelligence (hessian.AI) is looking for a student assistant to support the evaluation of a current data collection among AI startups in Hesse.
As part of the AI Startup Landscape Hessen 2025, we are collecting structured information on innovative AI startups related to Hessen. The aim is to gain well-founded insights into the Hessian AI startup ecosystem and to create the basis for visibility, networking and strategic development.
As a student assistant, you will support our team in the systematic preparation, analysis and interpretation of the collected data – with direct reference to the dynamic AI startup scene in Hesse. You will also be involved in preparing and conducting qualitative interviews with founders and other stakeholders.
Your job profile
Ongoing studies in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, economics or similar)
Interest in topics related to artificial intelligence, startup ecosystems, technology development and scientific analysis
Analytical thinking skills as well as a structured and independent way of working
Confident handling of MS Office; experience with research tools and possibly data analysis or visualization tools (e.g. AirTable etc.) an advantage
Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English
Good communication skills and strong written expression – ideally initial experience with interviews, qualitative surveys, or text work
