Since February of 2025, Christoph Hoog Antink is a full professor in the department of electrical engineering and information technology at TU Darmstadt. Before that, he did his PhD and PostDoc at the Chair for Medical Information Technology, RWTH Aachen University. He joined TU Darmstadt in 2021 as an Assistant Professor where he founded KIS*MED, the AI Systems in Medicine Lab. His research focuses on applied AI in the medical domain, ranging from signal processing over machine learning to system design and integration. Working with medical signals and data, one focus of KIS*MED is the development of unobtrusive technologies for ubiquitous monitoring, enabling medical monitoring outside of classical clinical settings.
