Jennifer Hannig
Jennifer Hannig holds a Professorship at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen – University of Applied Sciences in Friedberg. In 2024, she received a grant from the Federal Minister of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) to establish a junior research group. The group’s objective is the development of trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI) systems for a broad range of application areas, including medicine and smart home technologies, with a particular focus on eXplainable AI. Their research addresses issues of bias, improves human interpretability, fosters trust, and advances a deeper understanding of model decisions, thereby supporting the responsible deployment of AI systems in real-world settings.
